I always wanted to buy a bellows, in order to create some closer-than-close macro photography. But, being a Try Before I Buy guy, I was looking for someone that had one, with a Canon fitting.
Apparently these things are either hard to come by, or nobody wanted to lend one to me. After (very!) little thinking I came to the conclusion that a bellows is more or less nothing else then a closed (adjustable) box, with a lens fitting on the one end, and a camera fitting on the other... guess what: I was correct-ish...
...more after the break:
I used this (very) ugly thing to create the picture of the head of the 1cm clove in the beginning of the picture.
Cheers!

...more after the break:
I cut open 2 Kellogg's Special-K Breakfast for Champion Diet Followers (the diet part is optional, they are yummy anyway). I preserved the large sides, and cut the small sides into halve, lengthwise. I used the small sides as a point to connect the duct-tape to.
After creating a tunnel like this, I took this third Special-K box, and created a square of each side, fitting as the front and back of the contraption.
In the center of each square I cut a hole to fit the (previously prepared) lens-cap and body-cap. Both were drilled through, in order to let light through.
Some duct-tape later: viola! My special-K bellows!

Cheers!
